Either way that won't be the feature match. That's for sure.Either way, I want to hear on the 28th "Round 1: Steffon Penke vs. Mike Keller.
I haven't played Melee since our last encounter at Kadi's II, so that won't be a surprise. I'll be having fun though. You can't escape my wrath. I'll be there to whoop your ass in melee. God knows I likely can't beat you in magic.
This is all if I can even go though, because I just got a job and work weekends.
First of all, your response is not logically at all. A lot of times when attending a big magic event there is always the "best deck" which you could play, but that doesn't necessarily mean its the "best deck" you should play in a given metagame.
I will evaluate what the metagame will be and adjust according. I suggest any magic player will do the same in order to do well.

I don't want to sound pessimistic, but how is that possible until the tournament is actually over and results are posted, kind sir? I think it's pretty safe to assume no one will intentionally reveal what they are playing (unless you refer to wastedlife's comment: The deck you advocate is the deck you play). You'll see it all, so play what you feel is the best choice. You don't necessarily have to advocate one deck if you have a large card pool.
Metagames are near impossible to predict in Legacy. This is the most casual format ever.
I do believe you can make a pretty informed decision about the Legacy metagame when preparing for bigger scale tournaments. I will admit that Legacy is a wide open format where a multiple of decks can win. We still do have the top tier decks in Legacy that does consistently show up with multiple Top 8's finishes.
Legacy may of been a casual format a few years back, but with recent Grand Prix's that Wizards have made, I don't think its so casual anymore.
