    40 players
    1st and 2nd opted for a draw/split last round

1st: Mono Black- Reanimator 4-0-1 Rodrigo
    2nd: R/W/B- Improved T-Pink Weenie 4-0-1 Dean
    3rd: R/G- Survival Advantage 4-0-1 Lucas
    4th: B/G- Void 4-1 Jon
5th: Mono Blue- Solidarity 4-1 (anonymos)
    6th: ATS 3-1-1 Pat
    7th: B/G Rock 3-1-1 Dennis
    8th: B/W Braids 3-2 Tom

Note- The appearance of the few Survival Decks and the same Reanimator making top 8 is mainly due to the major lack of graveyard hate. The local metagame shows, at most, an occasional Eternal Witness or Cruible which makes running Planar Void/Ground Seal/Tormod's Crypt almost useless in board. Generally the loses those decks do have are to the decks that do mainboard Withered Wretch or Cunning Wish into Cofin Purge and/or Void which crushes them both main and side.

    22/01/2005

    1st Mono Black Control
    2nd Trix
    3rd Dark Secret Force
    4th Super Grow

The problem here is that people are not metagamed yet. So no ats or solidarity for now. Lots of gobbos tough

I wasn't even there, I had to work, I just realized nobody posted the results so I found out and posted them myself... Anybody that was there please feel free to PM me any additional info on the tourney.

PS - This might be a bit off topic, but I think everybody is dying to know this. What is Throbbing Pink Weenie? All I know is that it is a R/W deck, that is seemingly doing well. Can we get a thread and a decklist for it?

    5 rounds swiss

    1. 4c landstill: 4-0-1
    2. TP Weenie: 4-0-1
    3. ATS: 4-0-1
    4. RecSur: 4-0-1
    5. Reanimator: 4-1
    6. B/G Void: 4-1
    7. B/G LD: 3-1-1
    8. Star Spangled Slaughter: 3-1-1

Notes: Kev out of town for the weekend so I'm filling in with the results from San Diego. Heavy evening rain led to a slightly lower than usual turnout. LandStill and TP Weenie were the only 4-0 going into round 5 and split/drew. (They did play it out for grins and TP Weenie swept it 2-0)

Please note our new policy about posting tournaments:

Please only post Tournaments with an attendance of 16 players or more.

The Admins, Mods, and Adepts have decided that any tourney with an attendance less than 16 players will likely be unable to provide us with a reasonable estimate of a deck's performance. Even Suicide Black can T4 in a 6 person tourney.

I am currently deleting any older posts of tournies with less than 16 players. Apologies in advance to any toes that are stepped upon.

Nick and Rodrigo drew into last round. Jon had a draw from earlier.

    1. G/B/r/w Rec/Sur Nick 4-0-1
    2. U/B/g/w Land Still Jon 4-0-1 (Spikeymikey's Build)
    3. Mono Black Reanimator Rodrigo 4-0-1
    4. G/b LD Beats Shawna 4-1 (lost to #2)
    5. B/G/W Rec/Sur Me 4-1 (lost to #1)
    6. Mono-Black LD Beats Dean 4-1 (lost to 2 Land Belcher)
    7. U/R/w Star Spangled Slaughter David 3-1-1 (lost to ?)
    8. G/R Survival Advantage Kyle 3-2 (lost to # 1 and ?)

Kind of a funny night. A great deal of Aggro decks appeared after last week's reported abundance of Black. Black did not appear in force this week which helped lead to the dominance of Survival and LD decks.

Both myself and the Survival Advantage loss to Nick (Me round 3, Advantage round 4). Advantage then loss in Round 5 to combo (as far as I know)

No draws into the final round because there were so many earlier

    1. B/U/g/w Landstill Nick 4-0-1
    2. R/G Survival Advantage Barbara 4-1
    3. 2 Land Belcher Jerry 4-1
    4. R/G Survival Advantage Lucas 4-1
    5. G/B/r/w Rec/Sur Jason 3-0-2
    6. B/U/g/w Landstill Chris 3-1-1
    7. B/U/g/w Landstill Jon 3-1-1
    8. B/w Reanimator Rodrigo 3-1-1

    A few notes:
All three Landstill decks were Spikeymikey's build with slight modifications. The Rec/Sur deck (Same deck Nick played last week but Jaco ran it this week) plays more like "Survival Advantage splash Duress+Therapy" and Recurring Nightmares into the 1 Avalanche Riders, 1 Verdant Force, or 1 Duplicant (most games I saw, it was not even used).

    T4 Split

    Angel Stompy (3-0-1) (Me)
    Proteus Belcher (3-0-1)
    Mono Red Burn (3-1)
    Uber Goblins (3-1)

Notes: The night was very interesting. Scott and Joe were both playing my other decks of mine (Solidarity and R/G Survival). I have never seen such a bad run of cards. Solidarity went 1-3 and RG went 1-3. The Proteus Belcher deck was running 24 counters which I found really wierd. The uber Goblin deck I couldn't even begin to describe but from what I heard it was interesting. Not a typical Goblin build by any means. Duelers switches to Extended fo a month now so I have a month the test and build. :-(
