    Re: [DTB] Miracle Control

Daze? Most of the deck playing land tax are dismissing spell pierce for daze, so you can setup, say, counterbalance more efficiently AND not risking being screwed by random nonbasic hat / stifle.

    Re: [Deck] UW(x) Landstill

I think that, as usual, it depends on meta choices. Full of merfolk/maverick/sneak show? Counterbalance doens't seem the way to go. Full of reanimator / rug / mirror? Easy choice. I don't understand...

    Re: [Deck] U/R Delver

In testing I'm doing it happens that 1 card with miracle in your opening hand can happen. Thing is, the blue one can be fodder for fow, the red one cannot. In fact, i'm atm considering cutting...

    Re: [PRIMER] U/W/x Countertop Superfriends

Plus I hear miracle costs are good with Sensei's divinig top. This is time walk for us, period. I'm really excited about this card!

BTW, here's my last tweak on the deck:

    3 Jace, the Mind...

    Re: [PRIMER] U/W/x Countertop Superfriends

I still prefer a 1/1 split between Sorin and Elspeth. The reason is that Sorin is a little less difficult to kill, and I don't think messing up with the manabase is a good thing. KK, I may revisit...

    Re: [PRIMER] U/W/x Countertop Superfriends

Hanni, about Maverick. GSZ easily dodges counterbalance, and with no clock on the board, a resolved thrun @t4 (and that actually happens A LOT) is very difficult to beat. I played this some time ago:...

    Re: [PRIMER] U/W/x Countertop Superfriends

What for? You already have 6+4 swords effects... shackles is really not needed and expensive... I'd try it over crucible, however. Though they serve a different function, i'd rarely had the chance to...

    Re: [PRIMER] U/W/x Countertop Superfriends

I top4'd a small tournament (40 ppl) in Padua a couple of days ago. I attended the tournament as a testing ground for my take on this archetype. I think it's very viable now. It sucks I can't call it...

    Re: [DTB] Team America

I think you're referring to Ovino 6, in Milan. Here's the report (in Italian). And here's the list:

    4 force of will
    4 brainstorm
    2 ponder
    2 dismember
    1 go for the throat
    1 ghastly demise...

Re: [Deck] T.E.S - The EPIC Storm

Thanks, I'd really wanted some insight on PiF. I just don't get why it's the right time to cast it. When I'm wishing for IGG, I nearly always want to get back a LED, and PiF doesn't let me do that....

    Re: [DTB] Natural Order RUG

That's why we have a split.

This is false in 2 ways. The first, monocolored decks have wasteland, which is +2/+2 to terravore. Notable exception is affinity, where goyf IS bigger than terravore...

    Re: [DTB] Natural Order RUG

I don't know if one suggested to cut a creature entirely, and I don't want to defend that position. I am running a 2/2 split, as Jona does, and I'm not lowering my creature count (I actually play 8...

    Re: [DTB] Natural Order RUG

In facts, nobody said terravore is there to improve the stoneblade MU... goyf can bounced and stp'd too, but it addiction, it can be chumpblocked pretty easily.

The concept behind snare is whole lot different now than it was when snare was first printed and brought to landstill. The goal there was to survive through the early game and then your opponent...

    Re: [Deck] UW(x) Landstill

@Picelli: while I don't totally defend your choiche, I've always stated that in landstill card slots are really tight, and you have to focus on what you want to remove with removal spells and what...

Good job Jona, i think you did a very good analysis, and especially like the "core" deconstruction of the deck.

Few questions I'd like to ask.
    1) f/i#3 - grim lavamancer: I recently swapped daze...

    Re: [DTB] Natural Order RUG

Indeed, this is not a bad idea at all... i don't know if replacing a single tarmogoyf is the right place for terravore, but it sure may find a place as goyf#5... we run at least 9 fetches, so being a...
